How It Works
From portal to loot, here's what a dungeon run looks like.
Dungeon Portals Appear
Dungeon Portals spawn randomly across the world. Keep your eyes open while exploring when you find one, you've found your way in.
Enter as Your Pokémon
Only Pokémon can pass through a Dungeon Portal. You'll take direct control of your chosen Pokémon and fight your way through every floor.
Discover Exclusive Pokémon
Dungeons are home to Pokémon that can't be found anywhere else in the overworld. If you want to catch them all, you'll need to go deep.
Earn Rewards & Keys
Clear floors and defeat bosses to earn valuable loot. Among the rewards: Dungeon Keys rare drops that unlock something far more dangerous.
The Ancient Gateway
Collect enough Dungeon Keys and you'll gain access to the Ancient Gateway, a passage to far more challenging dungeons with stronger enemies, tougher bosses, and greater stakes.
Only the most skilled trainers will survive these depths. But the reward is worth the risk: Ancient Gateway dungeons may hold Legendary Pokémon that cannot be obtained any other way.
